There are three strongholds in our village: matouzhai, banner ridge and dongziliang. There is a hidden soldier Cave: Laojin cave. The stronghold is on the mountain and the soldier's cave is on the beach.

    If you look at the land of China, dikes are built in the northern plain area, fenced houses and earth buildings are built in Jiangxi and Fujian, and blockhouses are built in Guangdong... You can see stockhouses, blockhouses or their relics in all villages in China. Guarding the home is the most beautiful picture. Therefore, it is not surprising that our village has strongholds and hidden soldier caves. I have to write down the village's strongholds. The positions on the stronghold are still there. The barracks, towers, fortresses and walls of the stronghold will collapse in the wind and rain every year. Maybe decades later, the mountains that built the strongholds are still there, and the strongholds on the hills may only remain in the memories of the villagers and in my words.

    Most of the mountains in eastern Sichuan are Fangshan, also known as table mountain. The top of the mountain is like a table, waiting for the gods to drink around the table. There are three cliffs or even four cliffs on such a mountain. There are fields, land and even wells on the mountain. More than 100 families can live on the big fortress. The fortress of our village is naturally built on the Fangshan Mountain. There are three mountains on three sides of the village, which protect the village. On one side is a river and out of the village. There are fortresses on the three mountains, and there are hidden soldiers' holes on the river beach. It is easy to advance and retreat. From this point of view, the village has no defense corner.

    Matou Zhai or Matou Mountain, which is the highest and largest mountain in the village, will be called Matou Zhai after having a stronghold! Matou stronghold is a road stronghold with three cliffs. At the foot of the mountain, look at Matou village. The high mountain peak looks like a high horse's head, standing against the wind and flinching away. From the path to the stronghold, the sight suddenly opened up. The two ends were slightly high and the middle was low. It was not like a horse's head, but very like a saddle.

    There is only one way up the mountain. The stronghold is divided into front and back. Each stronghold has an outer city and an inner city. Each stone of the building has been finely processed. The "gray mouth" between the stones is as thin as a cicada's wing, and it is neat and uniform. The barracks of the garrison soldiers, the warehouse of the garrison equipment, and the gun holes around the blockhouse all face the fort outside the village. Even from the perspective of the military layman, the layout of the fortress is as solid as gold. In the early years, there were more than 30 households in the stronghold. Later, there were more and more people in the stronghold. The well water given by Wang was not enough for hundreds of people to drink. They built houses at the foot of the mountain and moved away from the stronghold.

    Banner ridge is in the middle of the three mountains, not the highest, but the nearest to the village. Bannerling stronghold is not as large as Matou stronghold. There is an arrow tower and three beacon towers. Obviously, from the perspective of the layout of the whole village, bannerling stronghold should be the headquarters of the whole village. The three beacon towers are obviously the signal towers for arranging troops. From this perspective, the banner ridge should not have been this place name in the early days. It should be the military place name after the stronghold, which is the banner of the command village. Like the large and small strongholds around my hometown, there was no beacon fire and no arrow fired on the banner ridge. However, the old gold cave at the foot of the same mountain of the banner ridge is the most fascinating place and the most concerned place in the village. The topic of treasure in the banner ridge and the old gold cave will always flow on the river of rural language.

    There is a well on the banner ridge and a field beside the well. The well water has never dried up, and the paddy fields have never dried up. Where does the well water come from? That is a mysterious topic that the village has no answer to. The village called the well Tianjing and the Fangtian Tiantian. The patio is the sweetest well water in the village, the Tiantian is the best paddy field in the village, and the rice grown in the Tiantian is the most delicious rice in the village. No matter when it was a large collective or later when the land was assigned to each household, Tiantian was always handed over to Tian Guangfu, the old man who was the best farmer in the village. Every autumn, the whole village will gather together to taste the fragrance of Tiantian rice and the harvest of autumn.

    Laojin cave is a huge natural karst cave on the Bank of Tianyuan river. The villagers have built gates and walls. The broad and deep karst cave has more than 10000 soldiers. There is a stone wall at the end of the cave. There is a hole in the wall, which is very like a lock hole. Adults say that this lock is the general lock of the treasure map in the village. There are still holes in the cave. If you open the lock hole, all the treasures in the cave will be opened, and there is a road to the courtyard and Tiantian of banner ridge. In the early years, a restaurant would borrow tables, benches, pots, pans, bowls and pans for a banquet. As long as you light candles and incense at the entrance of the cave, tell the list of things you want to borrow, the things you want to borrow will be placed on the beach. After the banquet is completed, you can return them in full. Later, a greedy family finished the banquet, but did not return it. Laojindong could not lend anything again.

    Beside the old gold cave is a large river beach. There is a deep pool in the beach. There is a huge golden bell in the pool. The adults said that many years ago, the golden bell flew from the most famous shuangguitang temple in eastern Sichuan. Originally, it was intended to be hung at the old jindongkou, but it did not catch and fell into the deep pool. As long as you throw a stone into the deep pool, you will hear the loud bell. It is our favorite thing in childhood to throw a stone to strike a bell. When we drop a stone, the roar will reverberate in the valley for a long time.

    Where there is a keyhole, there must be a key. The key is naturally in the village. On the rock wall above the old gold cave, there is an ancient cliff cypress. It is indeed strange to say that the cliff cypress grows out of the hard stone wall, and there is not a star of earth. What's more strange is that in the eyes of generations of villagers, we have never seen the cypress grow one inch tall, nor have we seen the fallen leaves and yellow leaves of the cypress. Yabai is naturally the master key to the treasure map in the village. As long as you take the cliff cypress and insert it into the lock hole of the old gold cave, the treasures of the old gold cave will be exposed one by one.

    There is also a stronghold in dongziliang, which should be called Dongbao. Dongzi Liangzhai fort is not on the top of the mountain, but under the rocks. The mountain rock opens a long mouth type cave. The villagers build a long stone wall beside the cave, like fitting solid teeth to the open mouth. Bandits have to ask those strong teeth before going up the mountain. From this point of view, it can be seen that the ancestors were wise and adapted to local conditions. It can be said that the ancestors "picked up" a stronghold from the mountain forest, which naturally can not compare with the weight of other strongholds in the village. One autumn, however, the daughter-in-law of Changlu in the village quarreled with Changlu and ran away from home until it was dark. The whole village searched all the places they could think of. They used long bamboo poles to turn over the wells, beaches and ponds, but there was no sign. The old man in the village said, go to Liangzhai castle in Dongzi. Everyone walked into the Liangzhai fort of Dongzi with torches. The daughter-in-law of Changlu was indeed in the fort, burning a fire and eating sweet potatoes. Obviously, this cave was the place that Changlu's daughter-in-law had long wanted to go

    Everyone gathered their daughter-in-law all the way home. I suddenly felt that the village's fortress marked the facilities to defend the village, but there was no historical record of swords and swords. What was guarding was the fairy tale of the village's war, just like the scarecrow in the village's fields.
